My Story
Hi, I'm Kara! I'm the owner of Nasheclectic Studio. Long before Nasheclectic existed, design was already woven into my everyday life. From childhood I was "flipping" my bedroom and getting in trouble for painting walls or deconstructing an existing item to make it into an interior piece. As an adult, I was buying and reselling houses - not as an investment strategy, but because I kept running out of room to design. Each home became a canvas: a place to experiment, layer my personal keepsakes, edit and refine my point of view. When one space felt complete, I moved on to the next, driven by the same instinct to create environments that felt connected, lived in, and deeply personal.
At the same time, I was building a career as a full-time marketing leader for corporate organizations, working closely with the creative teams and agencies. Set designs, shooting TV and being on set or shoots were my very favorite parts of the job. That experience shaped how I work today - bringing strategy, structure, and clarity to the creative process. Over time, it became clear that design wasn't just something I did on the side; it was the work I was meant to lead.
Nasheclectic Studio represents that transition - from designing my own spaces to building a studio dedicated to creating meaningful homes for others.
